The Zeco Kids School Hi-Viz Document Case in Green (34cm) is a children's school document bag from Zeco Schoolwear, made from 100% polyester and manufactured in China. Measuring 34×30×6cm, it carries A4 school documents, reading books, homework folders, and school correspondence flat and undamaged. The green is bottle green — a deep, dark green with a blue-leaning tone — with a fluorescent gusset and binding and reflective strips for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions. Features include a detachable adjustable shoulder strap, a stationery compartment, toggle closure, and a name card on the reverse. Part of the Back to School collection, it is one size and suitable for boys and girls.

Bottle green is the standard uniform colour for a significant number of UK secondary schools, and a bottle green document case is more frequently purchased by parents of secondary-level children than the other colours in this range. At secondary school, most pupils carry a rucksack for the majority of their daily load — subject books, PE kit, lunch. The document case serves a different and complementary function at this level: it is used specifically to transport reading records, form documents, letters home, coursework submissions, and A4 materials that need to arrive flat and undamaged rather than compressed in a rucksack. Some secondary schools also use a book bag format for supervised reading or literacy programmes, where a flat carry bag is preferred over a rucksack for the reading record and set text. For primary-age children at schools with bottle green uniform, the document case functions as the standard daily carry bag in the same way as the other colours in the range.

The fluorescent gusset and binding on the bottle green colourway creates a particularly high-contrast visibility combination. Fluorescent yellow-green trim against a deep bottle green base provides strong tonal separation that is visible to road users at a greater distance than a single-tone dark bag. This is the same high-contrast principle used in professional hi-visibility workwear, where fluorescent trim is placed against a dark background rather than a light one to maximise the reflective return. The reflective strips reinforce this in true dark conditions, returning light to approaching vehicle headlights. For children with any part of their school route involving roads in autumn and winter, this passive visibility is a relevant safety feature of the bag rather than a stylistic choice.

Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth for everyday surface marks. For a more thorough clean, hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent and air dry fully away from direct heat. Do not machine wash — machine washing can distort the gusset structure and weaken the bonding of the reflective strip material. Do not tumble dry or iron. The fluorescent trim on a dark bottle green base is particularly susceptible to visible soiling from muddy school environments in autumn and winter terms; a light wipe-down after wet-weather use maintains the brightness of the fluorescent binding. Complete the name card before first use and insert it securely behind the holder on the reverse.
