The Zeco Kids School Hi-Viz Document Case in Red (34cm) is a children's school document bag from Zeco Schoolwear, made from 100% polyester and manufactured in China. Measuring 34×30×6cm, it carries A4 school documents, reading books, homework folders, and school correspondence flat and protected. The red colourway features a fluorescent gusset and binding with reflective strips for enhanced low-light visibility, a detachable adjustable shoulder strap, a stationery compartment, toggle closure, and a name card on the reverse. Part of the Back to School collection, it is one size and suitable for boys and girls.

Red is the most visually prominent colour in the document case range and the one most likely to be identified immediately in a crowded primary school cloakroom, on a peg rail, or in a pile of mixed bags at the end of the school day. This is a practical advantage in a school environment where large numbers of identical or similar bags hang together: a red bag is located faster than navy, black, or green by both the child and any adult searching the cloakroom. Red is also the standard house colour for the red house in UK four-house school systems, making this the document case purchased specifically by children assigned to the red house who are asked to carry their reading record or house materials in a house-colour bag. At whole-school level, red uniform is less common in UK state schools but is used by a number of independent and faith schools where a red sweatshirt or blazer is the standard colour, and for these schools the red document case is a straightforward daily uniform purchase.

The fluorescent gusset and binding on a red base creates a strong daytime visibility combination — red is already a high-energy, attention-attracting colour in the visual field, and fluorescent trim reinforces the visibility profile in both ambient daylight and dusk conditions. The reflective strips add a further layer of road safety performance in full dark, returning vehicle headlights to approaching drivers and making the child visible at distance. Of all the colours in the document case range, red is the one where the base colour itself — independent of the fluorescent trim — provides the strongest passive visual signal in a street or road environment.

Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth for surface marks and everyday school dirt. For a more thorough clean, hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent. Important: red is the highest dye-transfer risk colour in the document case range. Do not wash a red polyester bag in contact with white, pale, or light-coloured items — red synthetic dye can bleed onto adjacent fabrics in wet conditions, particularly in warm water. Hand wash separately and rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear before drying. Air dry fully away from direct sunlight — UV exposure is the primary cause of fading in synthetic polyester dyes, and red fades toward a washed-out orange-red tone under prolonged sun exposure. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or iron. Store away from prolonged direct sunlight when not in use to maintain the red saturation over the school year.
